Headlight Change - Mazda 6

Headlight (left side) on my Mazda 6 (07) needs replacing. I'm a bit confused, the manual states accessing it via under the wheel arch by removing some panels but some googling videos show how to access it from under the bonnet and then there's the horror stories of having to remove the bumper:eek:

Anyone with some experience care to offer their tuppence worth?
    Thanks.

You access it through the wheel arch in order to change bulbs but in order to remove it, I'm afraid you will have to remove the bumper because there's a few bolts there that hold it in.
