How long to change springs?

Anyone who has ever had springs changed by a garage, how long did it take them? Would it be unreasonable to drop the car in Monday morning (with the new springs in the boot) and ask could it be collected Thursday morning?
    Thanks! :)

Sounds more than reasonable to me. Its not a very job with a lift and air tools.

Just make sure you get your car re-tracked

Took me 90mins to do mine, and that was including one of the top mounts popping open and ball bearings going all over the place, which I ended up finding, eventually.

3 days for springs? When I started reading your post I was thinking you'd say dropped it in Monday morning and collected it Monday evening/Tuesday morning...

If you just turned up at a garage Monday morning with no notice given you were coming, they could be booked for the week and not be able to fit you in regardless of the job.

After the bank Holiday Weekend needed some work done to my car, Called the garage and they were booked solid for the week but gave me a slot the next monday. If I had just turned up they couldn't have done it that week no matter what sort of rush I was in. Lift time that was needed was all booked up

Basically if you just book it in somewhere for early morning, you will have it back by lunch time the same day at worst.
