The simplest cider recipe

    2 litres of apple juice
    1/2 teaspoon of bakers yeast
    2 litre bottle (an empty cider flagon is perfect cause its brown)

    Ok drink about 1/2 cup of the juice and add all the rest to the empty bottle.
    Leave it sit till its at room temperature and add the yeast carefully and DO NOT SHAKE just leave it sit on top of the juice.
    Tighten the cork then release a quarter way so the gas can escape.
    Keep in a warm place and after 24hs you should see froth and the juice is cloudy considering you didnt buy the cloudy apple juice which does work as well.
    Now you know your in business and now its waiting time.
    After a week grab a straw and stick it in past whatever froth that may be there and taste to see if its at your liking.
    the dryer the stronger the sweeter the weaker.

    if its not dry enough then leave sit for a few more days or even a week and when your fully satisfied then follow the next set of instructions.

    Tighten the cork fully and leave it for about 6hrs then feel it and if its solid that means its full of carbonation and ready to go into the fridge to clear
    now you dont have to do this cause its ready to drink but it will look better and taste better as cider is supposed to be chilled anyway.
    always keep in fridge before opening to prevent bursts and when opening hold over sink in case spillage.

    this recipe will get you 4% - 6% alcohol depending on how sweet the apple juice is and on how dry or sweet you like.
