I have 2 tickets to the sky preview of End of Watch. I cant make it.
You have to be in Cineworld tomorrow for 6pm for a 6.30 start.

Free to the first good home to say they want them (on-thread).
Tickets are by e-mail so dont have to meet up or anything.

Its a decent film but not a patch on Training Day which was written by the same guy.

Most of the film is shot via handheld cameras ,which is extremely irritating and jarring .
It looks more like a documentary than a film .

The dialogue isnt great either to be honest and its poorly paced ,it takes a long time to get going but it ends well and despite its flaws I enjoyed it.

Had high hopes for this but agree not a patch on training day. Very slow to get to the promoted core of the movie. I thought the chemistry between the two leads was great but the dialogue was a bit "dude" heavy. Had no problem with the documentary style of camera work if you can get over the premise that everyone including gangbangers goes around filming everything. Still enjoyed it a lot though.

7/10 mainly for the two lead performances.

I'd agree. Training Day is 10/10. This is a 7/10. Well worth a watch, surprisingly good. But not Training Day. But what is?
