Problem with sound on PC suite computer

I'm in the library at the moment and can't seem to turn the on the sound on the computer. It's not on mute on either youtube or the computer but it just doesn't seem to be working. I have my headphones plugged in but nothing....Any please know what could be the issue?

Its probably just the particular pc you were at, some of them just dont work audio wise.

None of them should have sound (inb4 crap reasons like oh i want to watch a lecture on youtube)
