All she does online is browse the net Facebook and clothe sites and stuff and shes always watching things online too. she loves uploading pictures too. Depends on how much you have to spend. There are €100 tablets up to €500.
I've an ipad 2 and even though I do use it regularly, I don't make full use of it. I wouln't say it was a waste of dosh but something bit cheaper might have been better .

As mentioned in pm I've no link to any places selling tablets

That was just a pointer towards the types out there. Maybe you'ld be better off going to a currys, Harven norman type place to get em so.

    SEE http://www.powercity.ie/?action=&par=10-28&cat=Android+Internet+Tablets&action=brandstory
    I like the samsung tablets,
    7 or 10 inch,and the archos, tablets ,i used both .

i prefer samsung, archos as apple doesn,t use flash video plugin.
some video sites ,need flash video to work,
although all the tablets i,ve seen have an android Youtube app, ipad has a youtube app .IF she just watches youtube.
GET a samsung ,or archos 7 inch , whichever is cheaper,

GET one that has an sd micro slot ,handy for playing music, video, or uploading photos.
the samsung, archos tablets i used have 5 to 7 hours battery life.
GET a tablet cover/case ,and a screen protector to stop

    screen getting scratched.
    See
    http://www.expansys.ie/tablet-pcs+ipads/tablet-accessories/screen-protectors/

I,d prefer samsung ,as you can get covers, case s in shops,
    ebay ie , etc
Like apple, samsung tablets are very well made, designed ,they use high quality case, components, very good screen ,display quality.

    http://www.pcworld.ie/Product/BLACKBERRY-PlayBook-7andquot-Tablet-64-GB/306440/2.9

I,ve heard this is a good tablet, it has LIMITED ,range of apps,
doesnt run adroid os.OR run google apps.

make sure it has a Youtube app, before you buy.
i dont know if it runs the flash video, plugin ,
which many video sites, eg g4tv require to view video.

Android apps now work on the BlackBerry tablet operating system, and can be downloaded through the App World store, where they appear just like any other app.

This could really help to flesh out the range of apps available for the BlackBerry PlayBook, although the whole Android catalogue isn't here yet.

Still make sure youtube app works.
it says battery life is limited in the review.
    see here
    http://www.expansys.ie/tablet-pcs+ipads/

    There,s 2 tablets on epansys,ie , 7 inch under 130 euro,
    versus, and viewsonic model.
    this has flash 11 support,
ie should work fine on video websites, youtube etc.
it says due 24th november .

Going by the specs it looks better than the blackberry tablet.

There are quite a few to choose from, but here are two well known brands.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.0 7 inch £149 from Amazon UK free delivery and £30 cashback. - Any details you need are in that thread.

*This is the one i'd get her

The Blackberry Playbook 64GB - €139 from Currys using code BOARDSVIP€10 to get an extra €10 off (Sale ends today)

Loads of info about the Blackberry Playbook HERE

Both of them are good value, and very good tablets.

One thing worth noting is that the new Blackberry OS is due out in January, possibly making that tablet an even better buy.

    Blackberry RIM OS 10
