Websites makes it look like the shadiest venture ever. I'd also be highly skeptical of if they have the copy right on all the images on the site. Looks completely amateurish.

Did you read the info on the website?
One of the most senior (and very respected) training officers in the country is proposing this venture.
It is meant as a sort of professional developement group for qualified ems providers, regardless of where you work or volunteer
It is still in its early days so the website etc probably needs work.

It's almost as if they went out of their way to make that website non user-friendly. I wish them well and it is a good idea, but the only button somebody will click after loading that site is the 'close tab' one!

Seems harsh it's a functional and informative site no need for bells and whistles yet

The mobile site is very smart for what it's worth.

Sorry - you're right. I would be more critical of web design than most because I work in the industry. The website itself is a bit all over the place, but that will be rectified in time when they are underway. My comments about people leaving the site because of how unintuitive it seems probably only apply to me!

The people behind this and the idea behind it seems great though and I wish them every success. Another step forward for EMS in Ireland.

Been on the site a couple of times now, and would not question the well known and respected man behind this venture but don't quite understand the need for this.....if it is to promote ems services is it akin to the GRA? or mimic very experienced DFB plublicity method? Or the nurses Org who highlight shortcommings in A&Es ect......

Isn't there a register of practioners available in the very experienced and advised PHECC organisation?

Not over excited with the reference to 'College' in the title, looks like we never get actual recognition for being trained and operational, out there in an ambulance within two foot of a patient.....to me its like (maybe just me) that in the eyes of some we are & always will be striving for some kind of 'carlsberg' graduation........don't get me wrong i'm all for practical improvements/ & upskilling...........

but surely the above is one of the reasons why we need an organisation to help us to stop striving and start obtaining the good standing within the healthcare service, an organisation to promote and provide CPC.
