Clutch biting high

    Hi Lads,

Girlfriend bought a Hyundai Getz 1.1

The clutch bites very high, pretty much right at the top of the pedal travel.

It's not slipping though. I'm just wondering would it need a whole new clutch or could it be down to a slave / master cylinder, or could the clutch maybe just need to be bled?

Don't want to replace the clutch unless I absolutely have to! :o

    Thanks for any advice!

That happened to my mondeo and i left it alone and before i knew it the clutch failed so i had to replace it. I presume its just a sign the clutch is on the way out, i could be wrong tho.
