i see from reading the forum that a lot of people intend to purchase laptops online. is there any shops that offer good quality machines at comparable prices to unline. For example how does this compare to whats available online at the same kind of price? ta

Shops can rarely compete with online prices. If you are not after the latest tech and last year model is good enough, you can find shop bargains from time to time.

Also, 95% of shop staff is incompetent. So it's time and money wasted on trips to the shops and back... just to hear things like
"I don't know it's new model, have you google it?" or
"100mhz TV is better if you got big living room" or
"this has 750gb disk which is faster than the 320gb one if you like gaming".
