Getting repair under warranty

howdy, (long one but bear with me please) I bought an 07 golf mk5 late september from a dealers and with it got a 3 month warranty.

In the first few days there were a few teething problems, I brought the car back in after about 10 days having realised I could pull the lock tumbler out with my finger tips, I also complained at the time that there was a a strange noise coming from the front when I steered the wheel, thinking it was the bushes. They fixed the lock and fobbed off the strange noise saying the bushes were fine and that they passed the MOT. so didn't even look.

The noise eventually got worse and one day I noticed a pigtail piece of suspension coil dangling from the brake line in the wheel well (about a month ago). Hence I knew the strange noise was a buggered suspension coil, evidene in hand they looked at it and fixed it. I asked them if they looked at the other side, saying that if this one had corroded through the other one would follow soon enough, they fobbed off the question saying "oh yeah yeah that one was fine" - obvious they hadnt even looked.

Now 2 months and 15 days since purchase, the front left coil is creaking away as they obviously didnt replace it. I called to ask to bring it in, they said that springs are a wear and tear item and that they normally wouldn't be replaced under warranty, last time was just good will. But to bring the car in anyway to get it *looked* at.

My question, should I have to pay for this repair?

I would stand on sales of good act 1979,
[F12(2)Where the seller sells goods in the course of a business, there is an implied term that the goods supplied under the contract are of satisfactory quality. .
(2A)For the purposes of this Act, goods are of satisfactory quality if they meet the standard that a reasonable person would regard as satisfactory, taking account of any description of the goods, the price (if relevant) and all the other relevant circumstances. .
(2B)For the purposes of this Act, the quality of goods includes their state and condition and the following (among others) are in appropriate cases aspects of the quality of goods— .
(a)fitness for all the purposes for which goods of the kind in question are commonly supplied, .
    (b)appearance and finish, .
    (c)freedom from minor defects, .
    (d)safety, and .
    (e)durability. .
(2C)The term implied by subsection (2) above does not extend to any matter making the quality of goods unsatisfactory— .
(a)which is specifically drawn to the buyer’s attention before the contract is made, .
(b)where the buyer examines the goods before the contract is made, which that examination ought to reveal, or .
