According to the garage I dropped my car into the front left and right wishbones and the Flexpipi of my 02 Vauxhall Corsa have to be replaced, I'm a girl and have no idea what this means or how big a job it is - can either parts be got second hand? any one have an idea of how much a job would like that should cost?

    Any help would be appreciated.

All these parts should be replaced with New OEM or new spurious. I wouldnt go with secondhand.

They are wear items and based on age its time to change them.

parts - wishbones maybe around 100-120 a piece. the flex pipe i would have thought about 80 but not 100% then add the labour on top.

Wouldn't go with secondhand. Wishbones are about €90 each, Flexi hoses about €20 each.(micks garage.com)

if your car is due it's nct, let it through the test without doing anything,

€28 for retest and you will know exactly what it needs (they may well find other issues also)

Only Nct'd in August! Just rang me back €230 for the whole lot including parts and labour, is it possible the whole wishbone wasn't done in just a slightly less major part?
