    Hi

    i have a friend visiting for a week and, as I work evenings, she'll be left to her own devices fro a couple of nights... any bars or social places in the city where she might find a few of her country men/women?

    There's a Brazilian cafe/restaurant in Rathmines - just at the canal. Can't vouch for how good it is, but there always seems to be a lot of Brazilians there, so presume that's a good sign...
