Problem with Nintendo 3ds

    Hi all
    I updated a Nintendo 3 ds and now when I go into the game it comes up with this message

    An error has occures. Press and hold the POWER Button to turn the system off. Please refer to the Operations Manual for detail.

    I don't understand computer jargon and thats all iv'e found through google so if anyone has an easy solution or even an easily understood solution please help!!

    I'm not familiar with that problem, but it may be as simple as some dust has become lodged in the game slot.

    Remove the game, and blow into the game slot and blow on the game card. If the problem persists, you should send it for repairs.

    Its an official game cartridge you are playing I presume and not a flash card (R4, Acekard etc etc etc etc). If its a flash card, the update has killed it, at least in the short term, possibly long term, if its official cart then Robman60 advice is 100% Oh, and if it is the former, we aren't allowed to discuss any illegal carts here.

    They blocks pretty much all flashcarts aside from dstwo and r4i gold (? not sure about the last one) with the 3.1.1.1.1.1.1.1.1.1.10 (or whatever, 3 and 10 are the important numbers) update.
    Put in a real game.

    Ive tried a few games (one is defo real as i bought it myself in games stop assume the rest are too) and it comes up with the same :-(

    Well if you've tried what I suggested and you're using a legitimate game, then it looks as if repairs are necessary on the console. That or you've damaged your games somehow.

    Repairs are free if you're within your year warranty, and even if you're not you'll be able to receive a no obligation quote for repairs.
