Derailer hanger decided it had had enough today and gave out on the cx bike during my warm up. Im just wondering if anyone has any recomendations on a stronger aftermarket one, as the one that was broke didnt hit anything, or have any damage as far as I could see.

    thanks

    Try this place: gearmechhanger.com

They are Cnc'd rather than forged which should make them stronger afaik

They're designed to break at a point before the frame takes damage. I wouldn't wan't one a whole lot stronger then a standard one to be honest.

Good point bx, im not sure why it broke. I was only out yesterday with another friend of mine in ballinastoe and his hanger broke on his mtb - he got home by way of an emergency hanger. Ive just ordered one of them!
