Saorview Problem

    Hi folks, the RTE Channels and TV3 are fine but the BBC3, E4, Channel 4, etc are playing up. The picture and sound are distorted - they were all fine up until yesterday! anyone know what this is? thanks

    BBC3 etc are not on Saorview - what set up have you got? Satellite/Saorview combination?

    Hi, yep, am new to this so will move thread, thanks a mill!! I have Sky box in living room and we had an old telly in another room. We fitted the Saorview box and got the usual rte channels plus BBC1 and 2, BBC3 and 4, Ch.4 and More4, Channel 5!all working fine till last night:)

    Okay I'm going to presume you live in an area that might have some sort of Freeview reception so. Moving to terrestrial.

    The Freeview (UK terrestrial) signals you get there will be weaker than the Saorview signal from Clermont Carn.

    Do you have an outdoor aerial? A sub-par aerial installation might get satisfactory Saorview reception, but will struggle with Freeview. Might be worth getting someone to take a look at it.
