Hi folks, i got a report on a car with no history from motorcheck.
found out that the car was registered originally in the UK.
in 04/2009 the mileage was recorded as 90111m.
the car was registered to current owner in 02/2011.
i test drove it yesterday the mileage i saw was 88790m.
from what i understand the car wasnt driven for 2 years but even so im very skeptical about this.
hes a car dealer but not registered with SIMI.
ive put a deposit on it without knowing the the report from motorcheck.
not sure what i should do to be honest, its a 4x4 so it could have been clocked and pulled all sorts of weight in the past few years for all i know.
please someone i would appreciate some advice or help, thanks in advance!

If youre not happy then walk away.

Is it possible that a miles/km mixup could explain the discrepancy?

just dont understand how there could be a mix up. 90111m is very specific, from the UK Mileage Register. i was told there can be mistakes, any way of finding out where the reading was recorded
