flickering light over dublin mountains now?

    im living up in ballycullen now and there is this light that looks like a star a bit and flickers but what's weird is that it moves slightly around and is not completely static.. any body else see this? I'm a Pilot so i'm used to what happens in the sky but never seen a star like object "Dance"

    The first time I saw a chinese lantern I was completely freaked out.
    Had gotten up in the middle of the night for a smoke, and I just sat there outside in the cold watching it until it disappeared.
    Was sure it was a comet or aliens.
    As the first poster said, it was probably just that.
