bathroom fan on shower cubicle wall

Need to change fan above the shower .It is a mains voltage fan switched on by light . Its placed above the shower on the wall at ceiling height. It cant be touched but could get splashed. Can I change like for like or is it now illegal to have a mains fan it in this zone?
