Jeweller Recommendation in Antwerp for Engagement Ring

    Hi,

    I'm new to boards :)

    We are travelling to Antwerp in a few weeks to purchase an engagement ring. I've spent the past 6 weeks educating myself (as much as i can) on diamonds, 4'c's, cut etc. I've also done alot of research on Antwerp v New York and Antwerp seems to have better value. I will be in NY in Feb but decided to go to Antwerp based on reviews and information collected via the web.

    I know this topic has been covered numerous times here before and I have been trawling through past posts on this topic. But would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has travelled to Antwerp recently and in particular has had any dealings with Geretti Jewellers or Philipe Harold.

    Hi

    I got my ring from Geratti. Really liked them. Dealt with Marc before via email.

    I met with Phillpe too and he knows his stuff but he is arrogant. He was the only jeweler not to reply to emails before we went over (we emaild the five jewelers registered with the ADJA). He then had the cheek to say "you should have emailed me before you came over!"

    Pm me if yu have any particular questions. I highly recommend Geratti. They have lots of rings in stock and they had the one I liked in the window so we didn't need to get it made up. Great price too and a much better diamond than I could ever have hoped to get here.

    Hope that helps. Antwerp is such a nice place too
