I recently acquired a Xoro 9000+ combo receiver. It works ok but I can't figure out how to set up favourite channels. Manual is gibberish (favourite bit: "here we don't explain any more"). Thanks

Procedure as the line before in the manual says, is similar to the add satellite window. What they mean by that is you have to put a heart symbol beside the channel in your channel list, that is the aim.

If you are in the menu and the channel list sub menu you will see an option called FAV

Press the FAV button on the remote

You'll get an option then to add channels to FAV List 1,2,3 etc

Select what list you want to add to

After that then scroll through your channel list pressing the OK button and you'll see a heart symbol appear beside the channel

When you're finished just exit out until it asks you to save. Say YES.

See here for video of procedure http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ml28U-Z9rr4

    Bingo, Happy days.
