    how much hay would i need for 120 Ewes. they will be goin in around the 20th of Dec and starting to lamb around the 1st of Feb. Also how much feeding space would i need for feeding meal

    bale of hay should do 120 ewes 2 days.

    space depends on many things. sheared/not sheared, when they were sheared, if late august alot less on them than if sheared in may, size of ewe etc

    they were sheared in the middle of July
    they are belClare X Ewes so about 70kg

    thanks for the replies
    well i have a few lambs that are ready for the factory (45 to 50kg). the only problem is they were dosed a while ago and the withdrawal period won't b up until Christmas day. what should i do
    - put them on a maintenance diet if so what rate should i feed them at.
    - any other ideas?
    they r in da shed on meal 16%pr .97ufl
