Hi Guys Never done a last minute trip before but planning on doing it Mid Jan, have any of you waited to the last minute to book? We'd love to do avoriaz but not sure if it'll fill up by then.

I've done Ischgl and Chamonix last minute. Its very do-able. Mid Jan in particular because its the quietest time, so you should be fine. You will usually pay more for flights (although sometimes they can be cheaper too) and you will have the advantage of knowing if the conditions are good.
