Free Sky HD upgrade :)

    Got a letter from sky today saying that as a thank you for being a multiroom customer they have upgraded me to sky hd free until december 2013. The letter said that the offer is only open to current customers who recieve the letter but might be worth ringing and asking for it. :)
    Just to add I already had the HD box so it was just an upgrade to my package not the sky equipment.

    I have which ever pack the movie chanels are in I dont have sports tho

    Make sure that HD box is connected by HDMI cable not scart :D

    I wonder if this is just going to be a reward for multiroom customers. At the moment, I have the basic entertainment package plus Sports and Movies. would be great to get HD free.

    I have just had to ring sky about my account its gone back to full price so wanted to negotiate a lower price. I was told that I cant cancel with them yes as I started a new years contract in November..... I did not I just accepted the offer of free hd they gave me. I even rang them at the time and double checked it was not a new contract. So he eventually gave in and lowered my payment Just a word of warning to anyone else who accepted the deal to check that you are not in a new contract. Also he said that the free hd ends in November and that if I didn't want to be stuck paying for it I should ring them in October to cancel it.
