Hello there fellow vapers of both sexes. My name is Jerry and I live in Tralee. I am married and we have 3 children (17,16,14) 2 girls in there. I am 54 and have been smoking since the age of 15. I developed serious chest problems, COPD which means chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. A friend of mine called to see me one day in June and he produced an e-cig. I was hooked straight off. I purchased the Joye ego-T 1000mah from an outlet and I was using the tank system with the atomizer. Now I use the cartomizer and I am well pleased. My chest problem has eased dramatically to such a point that I no longer use inhalers. I am glad to have found this forum and look forward to advice and new ideas.

    Hi Jerry
It's Shane here the guy who emailed you from the Vapefest Ireland website.

It's great to see you on here and I'm delighted to hear that e-cigs are helping you and have made a difference to your health. :)

There's a great bunch of people on here Jerry and if you have any questions on anything just shout and there is always nearly someone about. There will be some meetups coming up as well during the year where we get together for a vape and a pint or whatever just to socialise and that can be good fun too as you would get to put a face to some of the members here and see the different setups people use and maybe try out a few different flavored e-liquids as well and stuff like that.

I'm hoping to have an afternoon meet organised in a venue near Bunratty not too far from the Clare/Limerick border around the end of this month on a Sunday afternoon. I'm just waiting for the venue to confirm a date they can facilitate us before announcing details so hopefully I'll know by early next week and will put up a post about it then.

That sounds great Shane only about half an hours drive for me (allowing I'm not working that weekend) and Jerry you can pick me up on your way to Limerick so I can have a few pints and not drive ;) you have to pass my place on the way :D
