Oh I just wanna put my face in that tree and sniff it till Christmas.

How anyone buys an artificial one i'll never know, you just cant beat that tree smell.

Not if you place them in a tree stand/water pot and feed them every 2-3 days with 1 litre of water and some sugar solution.:)

Artificial would last about 10 years for the price of a real one, also its a scourge having to dispose of it after xmas

Real bargain is a potted one.

We bought a 7ft one in a pot did fine for 4 years before it was completely pot bound and we planted it in the garden.
It wasn't the sturdiest or most suitable species either - abies koreana there are others that would last longer.

Brother got about 7 years out of his but it started much smaller.

Well I got a real 12 foot tree last year for 60 euro.

The sight and smell of it made it so worthwhile. We put in the front garden and we put 400 LED lights on it.It gave everyone some nice Christamss cheer.:D

It was then shredded up on "Little Christmass" and was put to good use in the gardren and on the allotment.:)

My Xmass tree lights were on a digital timer.

On at 5pm in the evening and off at 12:30am in the morning.:)

Neighbour seemed to like/accept the tree and lights, didnt complain anyway.
