    A march is taking place in Waterford tomorrow noon to protest at the threatened downgrade of Waterford Regional Hospital (WRH) and the breakup of the Southeastern hospitals group. If this happens acute regional services will be transfered to Cork.
    Details can be found on the Facebook page;

    As with Waterford's campaign to get a University established in the Southeast, we need Carlow's support.

    Come down tomorrow and stick this on your car's back window;

    It was great to see so many people representing their respective countys at todays demonstration such as Carlow, Tipp' Kilkenny & Wexford.

    I didn't notice too many foreign nationals in attendance either!

    They were al working(in the hospital!), and thank god for all the foreign workers, from nurses and attendants to cleaners porters and maintenance staff all the way up to doctors and surgeons, the health services both public and private could never survive without all these wonderful workers!
