Opel Insignia Bluetooth Multiple Phones

    Hi all,

Wondering if some Opel heads may be able to help me.
Setting up multiple phones on an Insignia 2012 for bluetooth? Was sure the dealer said it was possible all I had to do was pair them up (simple enough) and I could use either phone (personal and work).
However, when I pair one it appears I disconnect form the other and vice versa! Any ideas? Maybe it's no possible to be connected to two at the same time which is not the end of the world. Both phones still appear on the list on the dash screen display but the one connected ahs a dot in the circle beside it.

    Cheers

You can only have one phone connected at one time unfortunately.

I was wondering...it's a month or so back now but dealer said I could connect the 2; one would be answered first or something...lies!!!!
    No big deal.

Not that I know of anyway, and I tried it a few times on Insignias.

Maybe he meant you could have more than one paired....

Yes I'd say that's what he meant to say. Cheers.

Bluetooth, as a standard, is designed that way; a master device can know up to 7 slave devices but will only transfer data with one of them.

You can have multiple phones paired to bluetooth but you can only have one phone joined at any one time.
