I'm moving into a new house in the coming months and would like to be free from sky and upc bills. I was wondering if its possible to have the following setup.
I'd like to be able to watch and record simultaneously saorsat or freesat via the one sat receiver. I was thinking that id need the following:
2 dishes (existing sky one + new one for saorsat)
At least 2 LNB on each of the dishes.
This is where I've questions, Im not sure if I'd need a receiver with 2 tuners and 2 diseqc's?

Input 1 from Sky Dish and Input 1 from Soar Dish into diseqc 1 and output goes into tuner 1.
Iuput 2 from Sky Dish and Input 2 from Soar Dish into diseqc 2 and output goes into tuner 2.

Is this possible and if so what receiver would you recommend?

If you can receive saorview then avoid saorsat as there's no TV3 on it.A combo box would probably be your best bet, have a look in the terrestrial forum.
