What is the point of the new twelve hour bus lane in Clanbrassil St? It is a rare occasion when there are more than three buses an hour down this street and if a six hour bus lane is sufficient on Patrick St, which has a much larger volume of bus traffic including tour buses, why twelve hours in Clanbrassil St. Traffic is regularly backed up beyond Long Lane.

What's the content of the traffic? If motorcars, then that means not enough bus service, yes? Time to repeal Network "Direct" in that case. (Also sounds like loads of room on those bus lanes to return route 65 to the old Harold's Cross routing instead of via Rathmines and Rathgar.)

For the most part the bus lane is empty, apart from the usual BMWs and 4x4 which are exempt from the rules of the road, the majority of the traffic is cars and commercial vehicles.
