This has to be damaging to Walmart.. If someone bought an iPad in Walmart, broke it (accidentally), they could go back to the store, say it was a birthday present, they just opened it yesterday, and it was like that when they bought it..

One Reddit user claims the guys in this video have already been dealt with by Walmart officials. “This was sent to me by an employee of this store. They’re fired and prosecuted as well,” the individual wrote.
With Black Friday just around the corner, the last thing the company wants is for people to find a reason to avoid the retailer this holiday season. After all, iPads and all sorts of electronic devices are sure to be popular gifts among family and friends.

After watching that video I've come to the conclusion that these are clearly intelligent fellas who were making an ironic attack on excessive materialism, consumer capitalist culture as well as a light hearted jibe at multinational corporations such as Walmart. Kudos to them.

Many years ago in the UK, at a loose end in December between stints in an offshore job, I took a temporary position in an Index catalog store (don't know if they are still going - they regarded themsleves as an upmarket version of Argos).

I worked in the warehousy bit - along with a team of others, picking the stuff off the shelves as the customers purchased, and putting them through to the front shop on a little conveyor belt.

The full-timers hated the part-time Christmas staff, as we didn't share the same utter comptempt for the public/customers that they did.

Packages containing electronic goods were regularly tossed down to the floor from the top shelf rather than carried down, and small electronic packages were regularly used as the "football" in end of shift football games in the warehouse.

When I wouldn't take part in these practices, I was ostracised by the full-time staff, including my line manager.

Little or no CCTV in those days (was Christmas of 1989).

I have done many and varied jobs in my life, and normally enjoyed myself whether serving petrol, mixing chemicals, or advising wealthy IT clients, all great jobs if done with a positive outlook.

But that was one month which I look back at and shudder at the horrible atmosphere, bullying, and "don't care" attitude.

I'm sure this video is only the tip of the lceberg.
