Vehicle ramp for domestic basement: can anyone tell me the max slope?
Also is there any particular regs or restrictions on non habitable basements? floor to ceiling heights etc i presume there's a purge ventilation requirement

Don't think there are any specific Irish regs.

The Concrete Centre in the UK publish a guide called Basements for Housing, it's downloadable for free from their website www.concretecentre.com. It gives a list of further reading BS / BRE documents that you might find useful
