    Looking for some advice:

I want a bike computer for cycling, heart rate and cadence, was looking at the polar cs300 and polar 200cad, there seems to be mixed reviews over these items has anyone had the luxury of using either one of these or some other model...??

I ordered the Polar CS200 a few months ago as I thought I wouldn't really use the Cadence feature. However they sent the CS200Cad version by accident and I didn't bother informing them of their mistake. I think it cost £85.

Everything was simple to set up and all fitting were included and it has worked perfectly since including the cadence feature.

HR is always spot on as it reacts to the smallest change in effort.

The only thing that I think is inaccurate is the calories burned feature which seems consistently high but as far as I know the only way to get an accurate reading for that is with a power meter which is quite a bit more expensive.

Overall I cannot fault the Polar CS200 for the price.

[got a cs200cad on fittnessdigital.ie for €109 a couple weeks ago , i know it early to make a fair judgement but so far so good , i would say it takes a bit of working out the heart settings and i found it easier to manualy put in my own max heart rate and work on the heart rate % setting and since then it a lot easier to use for me and id recommond to turn of the alarm (it drive u mad),but for the price it a great buy and incl a cadance sener and speed senser, garnim edge with same nearly €300, you get the full manual on the polar website

    lads,

Just to confirm, i purchased the cs 300 with cadence, it works no problem at all, uploading the info to the computer can be a littl bit tricky, after a few attempts you will get it no bother.:)
