Does anyone know if Limerick will advertise in the next year or so ?

Haven't heard anything mate, although Cork and Waterford both been recruiting this year, albeit small numbers, so it's possible that next year they might, anyone's guess!

Was talking to a Limerick city firefighter last week and was told, that, there are fulltime spaces in Limerick. On one shift alone there are four space, I asked why they weren't been filled and was told that there are two arguments in the station at the moment. One is whether to cut numbers on the shifts, which is from the Keeping Communities Safe document, which asks for lesser numbers on a fire appliance. The other argument is that with the amalgamation of Limerick city and county, the county brigades want an internal recruitment, like Galway. has anyone heard anything, whispers, rumours, anything?.
