Semi Permanant Colour in Between Highlighting

    Anybody tried this before?

I heard a girl saying that in between getting her highlights, she uses a light blonde semi permanent colour over to mask/blend her roots somewhat. I am curious to try it but I'm worried it might drastically alter the lighter lengths of my hair. I'm currently a fairly bright shade of blonde.

Would love to get some more opinions!

You can try something like Revlon Nutri Colour Creme. It is like a conditioning semi permanent colour. I have both red haired and blonde friends who use that for up keep between salon colours. I used that when I was keeping my dip dyed ends a strawberry blonde colour and it worked perfectly. It add more vibrancy than colour.

The only other semi permanent colours I used are quite crazy ones such as pinks and purples. It depends on the person but they fade pretty quickly if something goes wrong. For me, they fade in 2 weeks and disappear in 4-5 weeks.
