    Hi all,

I have managed to snag the below spec on the dell outlet for 503 GBP, I know its a grand spec but I wanted a 17" with an i5 which seem to be more expensive anyway. Might just count my luck and go with the 15"

My requirements are not gaming but given the price i think I should just go with the 15 anyway

Just want some thoughts on what I should do.

I have the option to cancel.

    Hi

If your requirement is not for gaming and you don't need a lot of processing power for encoding video etc then why not go for a lower spec on the processor. Get yourself an I3 and up your monitor size to the 17". Also, you have 8 gigs of ram on the above spec, you could lower this to 4 gig.

Don't get me wrong, it is a nice spec laptop, but my view is to spec for what you will use your laptop for.

Thanks, the dell one I managed to bag on outlet. ram etc isnt an option to change on it.

The Voyager 17" from pc specialist even the i3 comes in at over 540 gbp including postage.

So for 30 quid less I get a 15" but with better sound and processor ram and hard drive.

Think that sums it up, just needed to break it down really
