hi im looking to go away to bulgaria for a week next summer,
    aer lingus travels to their,
but at the moment the dates were looking to go ate 748e for both of us up and back (now thats reasonable) if we werent paying for accomdation as well.

now i dont mind forking out 1500 quid for a holiday+ accomdation if its longer then a week but only a week seems to be very steep

now i heard theirs a cheaper way of getting a flight to england and from their to bulgaria

ive looked for flights based in england that go to bulgaria but i cant find any
can any direct me to a flight company or any flight at all from england ( anywere in england ) that goes direct to bulgaria

thanks. need to book in the next week because prices go up as it gets closer to christmas

You've picked a nice part of the world.

There are a number of Tourist Operators that sell packages from Ireland to the the Bulgaria Black Sea resorts. Bourgas (BOJ) and Varna (VAR) are the two airports servicing the many different resorts there.

Balkan Tours. Specialists for a few decades fly charters from Dublin (DUB) and Belfast International (BFS).
    http://www.balkan.co.uk/book-online/
The website is showing their flight only prices,I didn't see any packages for the Summer.

Sunway.ie they have a few retail shops in Dublin.

Club Travel large reputable company based in Abbey St. Dublin 1.

Comparison website (esp. Abbey Travel,Sunway, Topflight, Crystal Holidays and Thomas Cook)

It is still very early to book packages next June, there is no urgent rush just at the moment. Many operators are still selling snow holidays to Bulgaria. resorts like Bansko, Borovets, Pamporovo.

Been there in Winter & Summer.

its fine if you just want a sun holiday - drinks, beers and sun.

If you are looking for anything 'nice' or interesting, its not worth it.

My OH's parents have an apartment in Sunny Beach and I've been three times. It's ideal for a typical sun holiday - great weather, food & drink VERY cheap, huge big beaches, waterparks, markets/stalls etc.

Outside of that there's not really much else to the area. Nessebar is a nice little heritage town nearby and there are quite a few trip companies doing day trips and things to Varna, Sozopol, Sofia and countryside trips.

For 2013 summer months, you will get nothing out of England cheap at the moment...Yet, come next summer, an odd cheap flight will come available out of UK here and there but sure by the time you come across these good deals, the connecting flights from Ireland to UK have gone up too much to make it worth while..
Balkan Holidays website, there the best by a country mile for last minute cheap flights from Ireland, only Belfast I think though..
Best deals will be out of Belfast for def though, balkan holidays mainly(not balkantours as already mentioned), thomas cook and thomsonfly....
