    Hey All,
An oldie I know for some you seasoned veterans here but I am going to starting commuting on the train early next year. I was just wondering if any of you had any advice for me on how to approach it so that it does not dominate my life as the wife has a baby on the way and I want to be there as much as possible.

What will your hours be in Dublin? The morning Enterprise into Dublin is good, but you will probably have to stand, as its busy, but does run non stop to Connolly.

Have you considered the matthews bus? Lad I worked with bussed in and out, faster and cheaper than the train, and less delays

Matthews Bus is not necessarily always faster - it's cheaper than the train alright. Two buses an hour at peak times compared with three commuter trains at peak. Enterprises take 42 minutes and commuters take 55 minutes or so.

Last Matthews Bus is at 2330, takes 50 minutes and the last train is at 2337 and takes 55 minutes Connolly to MacBride.

For the sake of completeness BE run a bus every 20 minutes to Dublin, takes 1 hour. Last bus is at Midnight.

Good to have a choice available.

The bus eireaann 101(every 20minutes) takes 90+ minutes and the hourly 100x takes an hour.
