Help picking a violin

    My wife has been talking about learning to play the violin for years.
    I want to get her a beginners violin for Christmas but don't really know what to look out for.
    I found what seems like a good enough deal for a beginner here.
    I want something full size that doesn't feel cheap but I don't want to go nuts as she might not take to it as much as she thinks.
    Can anyone advise me?
