We did 4 nights in Vegas also..we stayed in Mandarin Oriental, was absolutely beautiful, restaurant and pool areas top notch etc..was pretty expensive, but said we'd splurge :) An upside is it didn't have a casino, so it was literally an oasis of calm slap bang in the strip :D

The Wynn looks fab and also heard good things about Venetian.

Myself and the missus stayed in the ARIA which was amazing (and surprisingly cheap)

We booked through trailfinders as we were doing a big tour of the States. The TF agent mistakenly told the hotel we were on our honeymoon (we weren't) and were treated like Royalty with upgrade room etc etc.

Its a bit pricey when you are in there for food and game tables but all you need to do is sleep there and go elsewhere for all that stuff

This is a good point.. it's great to stay in luxury, but with that comes the larger minimum bets and prices for drinks etc. Really depends what you are there for.

As mentioned you can leave say Aria, and Monte Carlo is nearby for cheaper Gambling, as is Luxor/Excalibur.

If you dont mind too much about not having a Casino the below are all amazing hotels.. Mandarin Oriental, Vdara, Cosmopolitan. These are all located in the new 'city centre'.. you have no casino but are still near everything.

If you dont want a casino and dont mind being a little further out i'd suggest Hilton and Trump hotels.

    Personally i need a casino :-)..

Best location for price (Not necessarily luxury would be MGM or Mirage further down.

In terms of Luxury i would say go for the Wynn or the Palazzo.. but again be prepared not to be gambling in your own casino!

    Lots of choice!

Just came back from honeymoon in VEGAS!!!! like, literally!
We stayed in the MGM, but i would recommend the Venetian,
We even said we would stay there on our five year anniversary. its beautiful and romantic and very much in the centre of the strip,
    PERFECT

    BTW....
MGM was amazing, bu didnt really match up with the wow factor of the other hotels on the strip, and although its quite close to the airport, it is on the very end of the strip.
Just some little notes to consider, i didnt know this when i booked, and even though i loved it there, i would of preferred the venetian or plazzo

I stayed in the MGM signature (part of the MGM but separate) and it is lovely! Also stayed in Sams Town which is off the strip but excellent aswell.

Booked into the aria in June for 8 nights! Relatively cheap. 1550 for flights and accom for two people for 8 nights! Cant wait! Third time going.

In vegas the two unmissable shows are "O" from Cirque du Soilel and the "blue man group"
