5 night trip to Prague 7/8 people

    Hi everyone,

    I'm planning a trip to Prague for a group of 7 or 8 friends. We're thinking of booking an apartment as it doesn't seem much more expensive than a hostel and we'd have our own space, cook a few meals ourselves etc. Anyone have any good recommendations for 5 nights at the end of February / start of March. Location and price are our biggest factors. I've mainly been looking around the Old Town area - is this a good choice?

    Also, as my OH and I are currently travelling, we'll be meeting the group of friends in Prague. We'll be flying long haul so want to arrive the day before to get a good nights sleep and be fresh for our reunion with our friends. Any suggestions of a comfortable, well priced hotel? Preferably in the same area as the apartment for easiness sake.

    Finally, any general recommendations about things to see and do would be much appreciated.

    Oh, I forgot to say that we possibly wouldn't be arriving at the hotel until 10 or 11pm from the airport so would be looking for hotels that allow check in at this time, and also that have room service or a restaurant (either in the hotel or very nearby) open this late! The option of late check out the next day wouldn't be bad either. Thanks :)
