Updated to 4.1.1 firmware on my S3 and installed the siyah kernel but back on stock Rom.

I have root access(titanium, superuser etc) but no Cwm application.

I don't know how to get it back so can someone explain how to do so?

you can install Siyah without CWM if you choose.

Four just use Rom manager as Jarren suggested

ROM Manager can do everything CWM does so I take it lads?

Was using litening Rom up till now. Any other stable roms worth flashing that will increase battery life.

not really, but you can flash CMW recovery with ROM manager easily

    Try Supernexus

I have it dual booting with a stock Jellybean rom, so far its very stable great battery life and absolutely no bloat, just pure Android without Samsung's crap

Sound. I've flashed Cwm recovery on it now using Rom manager. I'll make a backup on it now before I flash a new Rom.

Cwm was able to do full nandroid backup.... How can I do that now on rom manager?

go down to "Backup Current Rom" that boots you into recovery and runs a nandroid backup.

    Thanks.

Will I need to do a wipe/reset when flashing a rom, since I'm on stock at moment?

I would say you are better off doing a full wipe if moving to a new ROM.

    The steps I take are:

    Titanium Backup all Apps
SMS Backup and Restore to backup my messages
Nova Launcher Backup (this backs up my home screen layout so I don't have to set it up again)
Nandroid backup old OS (incase it all goes pear shaped)

    Flash Rom with full wipe
    Flash boot.img using fastboot.
    Erase cache with fastboot.

    reboot.

Go to Play Store and cancel download of apps (I have it setup to keep my phone in sync so it tries to download all my apps again)
    Download Titanium and restore apps.
    Restore SMS
    Restore Nova

Done! On a new rom with everything restored and it all took about 30 mins.

I use apex launcher... Will I be able to restore my home screen using that?

    Edit: I can.

Apex allows you to back up settings alright - however I made the misatake of not saving to the ext SD card (not even sure if it's possible), and after the wipe the backup settings were gone.

I'm sure theres a way of doing it though, just need a little google-time to find out.
