Bought a bike computer last week only to discover I couldn't read it on the bike so not wanting to wear my metal framed glasses because they are expensive to replace and may be dangerous, I googled and found these

    http://www.eyelids.ie/bi-focals-foxe.html
They are not prescription glasses just a clear or tinted plastic lens with a small clear bifocal insert of varying power of your choice for reading your bike computer or map or counting your change or whatever. Delivered today are wraparound and work a treat so if you are like me it saves having to carry and risk breaking the good reading specs.
No connection with vendor just thought Id share a good find.

Thanks for that - it's a great price.
I spent a good while looking for a similar 'cheap' solution and go it here http://www.dualeyewear.com.
It was much more expensive at 124 dollars but included three removable lenses with different colours etc.

A nice selection there too and Dualeyewear seem to have dropped their prices quite a lot since you purchased. The slide of the garmin on that site is exactly the difference they made for me too.
The sunglasses I got from eyelids are claimed 100% UVA, polarised and the bifocal is clear which I thought was clever.
