new to apple devices and lost

i bought an i phone 5 yesterday,been setting it up and updated to 6.0.1,i cant sync my music from i tunes to my phone and i cant get onto the app store to download facebook,i cant even go onto i tunes on the phone,iv an apple id setup,password correct,i done a factory reset also and nothing,im completely lost so any help is apreciated

i might have the app store fixed now,its starting to download facebook anyway.as for the i tunes,it says its syncing when i ask it too but the music never makes it to the fone,music plays in itunes on the pc,phone is connected properly too

You may need to click on the iphone when connected to iTunes. this should give you options on the sync.
Sometimes if you've connected another iPod to that itunes previously, it won't sync over any music or apps.

Probably the best setting to keep it at - once you know it's on!

Just drag and drop your files instead.
