    Hi,

My son spilled a glass of milk on our Toshiba Laptop. It happened a few weeks ago but as we ad another laptop we just left it. But now he needs it, I was wondering if it can be or if it is worth repairing. It is a Toshiba Satellite L655 - 1EM system, it cost around €600 early in the year.

    Thanks in advance

God, it should have been switched off and meticulously cleaned initially and you should have had a good chance. But if it was just let sit, I would doubt whether it's possible to fix it.

Did you try turning it on? How long after the spill did you try? Was it cleaned? If so to what extent?

yes, we powered it down as he was using it. I then tried to dry it put it in the ho press. It will power up now but does nothing apart from a flashing light I think

By turning it on before it was taken appart and cleaned you have probably done a lot of damage, pure water is the only thing that can be left to dry out.
