    The curse of dad's army has struck again.
    Have a look on Wikipedia, it's spooky how many of the actors in that show have died.

    That's nothing, there are movies made in the early 1900s that have a 100% mortality rate. Different times, what, spooky, etc.

    People who were in pre-colour films seem to have a high mortalitiy rate too.
    It must be something to do with the black and white paint they used.

    The curse of Dad's army? He was 92 for heaven's sake! In fact he was one of the younger actors in the series. Only 48 when he started playing the much older Corporal Jones. So it's not surprising he outlived almost all of them except for the younger actors.
