I'm a little eBay-phobic to be honest. I'd prefer to stick with Amazon. I can get the free delivery to the UK and use one of my free Parcel Motel stays to get these! :)

For great protection on cases you should check out the Otterbox ones.

Admittedly they are a bit costly, but they are well worth the money and are very very good.

(and yes, they are named after Otters for some reason.)

Otterbox cases are named after the otter because, 'similar to an otter's fur, our original line of cases is waterproof'. They also wanted to 'incorporate that element with the fun and playful disposition of the animal'. I TRUMP YOUR 'SOME REASON', SIR.

Ahem. But yes, customers have apparently dropped Otterbox-clad phones flat onto the ground or (in one terrifying case) thrown their new iPhone 5 out the door and been incredibly pleased with the results.

There are some 'free' ones here:

You have to pay postage but most seem to be happy with them.

Definetly get a decent case for this phone, unlike the htc phones the Samsungs need one, on the plus side the phone seems to look really well with a case on :)

bought this one off Adverts a couple of weeks ago

its a good case, cant complain, the one small downside that the case adds a bit of thickness to the phone

the phone has survived a few weeks so far with two small kids, cant say much more that that

I have this one. I'm not usually a fan of having a case on a phone, but this one is quite slim and I wouldn't know it's there most of the time. Comes in a pack of two, too!

I have the case mate tough. It's a good cover, gives the phone a good grip, I find the phone itself quiet slippy. My phone has fallen lots of times and the case has protected it each time thank God!

I have that one but replaced it with a fuller one. It doesn't protect the top or bottom section of the phone at all.

I had one of these too. Best case I had for the S3 - far superior to any of the gel cases.

The case mate barely there was also decent but offers less protection.

Got one of these a couple of months ago, has a nice 'rubbery' grip and fits the phone well.

Bit dear on amazon, got it on grafton st. for €15

i would say def look on ebay, i orderd mine for the S3 and a buddies, cost €3 and had it the next day. surely its worth checking out for 3 quid. the black cover for the blue phone is a great fit.

While you might think something for 3 quid cant be as good as the ones for €20, its cause the ones for €20 are a rip off, seen them side by side and there's no difference. Not a seller just cant get over the way people are paying so much for covers. Same way it infuriates me when people see the S3 and say its not as good as an iphone though is it? or I'd rather the iPhone, the poor fools just dont know and are a marketing person's wet dream :)
