Thatcher is missing in the Dunshaughlin area of Meath since last night (6th Nov). He went out for his wee before bed and unfortunately someone had left a gate open so he got out. He is microchipped, neutered and wearing a collar with tags with contact details. His family are very upset and are searching everywhere. PLEASE share this everywhere and contact details in ad below.

I never thought something could annoy me more than the name Thatcher. After this thread, the idea that somebody has a Rottweiler in 2012 in any society where children people exist, and that it is on the loose - microchipped or not - definitely beats it.

Time for Meath County Council to take a leaf from DCC and ban such dogs. Better still, time for the government to ban them across the state.

I'm sure no Irish family wants an Irish child to end up like this child or this child.

The dog wasn't let roam free, he escaped.

Are you serious?? Im guessing you are a troll so im not going to waste my time defending these fabulous dogs, of which i have two. Take your ignorant, clueless opinion somewhere else as you know nothing about these dogs or any dogs by the sounds of it.

What do you think a Rottweiler is, some sort of Monster?? They are a dog, yes a dog, same as any other dog.

Its pathetic that there are still people with views like yours around.

There are more attacks and dog bites by other dogs such as collies, labradors etc but they never make the press, i wonder why

Your post is extremely misleading, DCC banned certain breeds from housing DCC run, not across the whole of the DCC area.
