    I was looking into organising a stag party in Carrick-on-Shannon.

    Any opinions/recommendations?

    Depending on how many people are to be involved how about renting a Shannon cruiser? Guaranteed adventure and hilarity as you mix copious amounts of booze and the longest river in Ireland.

    God where to start, its such a big place.

    I went on a stag there once.
    I got off the bus right outside the hotel, thrown on a splash of old spice, walked literally 10 yards across the road to the pub/nightclub, many hours later I made the return trip to the hotel: via the chipper.
    In the morning straight on to the bus from the hotel.

    In all honesty I'd say during the entirety of my stay in Carrick on Shannon I was outside for 3 minutes and walked maybe 30 yards on her streets.

    I felt like some kinda modern day Howard Hughes stag participant.

    Yeh OP, if you're look for serious answers, stick with your thread in the Leitrim forum. If you're happy to have a lot of coke and hookers (sure why wouldn't you be!), and plenty of unserious but potentially funny answers then I'll leave this open.

    Cancel it and go somewhere abroad where you don't have to finish up drinking in bars at such an early hour.

    Just to warn you Carrick Hookers are slightly different to Hookers you would find in other towns around Ireland.

    First and foremost they have four legs and covered in wool......
