I was just wondering with regard to the new feature on Sky+ which allows you to restore deleted recordings - how long are deleted recordings stored for? or is it based on the number of deleted recordings you have?
Great new feature by the way and will save a few arguments over things being deleted "by accident"!
    Thanks

As far as I know the 'deleted' recordings are held until hard drive space is actually low (or more space is required for a recording). The undeleted items do not appear as taking up space and if you bring them back the amount of free space reduces. So they are auto deleted to regain physical disk space when the need arises. If you don't record anything they would remain in the 'deleted' list longer. I'd imagine the older ones are removed from the 'deleted' list 1st, but I guess there may be instances where a larger recording is deleted before multiple smaller ones which are older.....

Lads where is that feature or how do you un delete I heard it mentioned before but I haven't seen how to do it. It's probably obvious but I seem to have missed it.

Go to planner then scrolldown and go left where you will see the programmes you deleted. To restore a programme hightlight it and you have the option to delete it permantley or to restore it.

It must be only the newer ones. With mine when it's gone it's gone, it's not there to highlight and restore.

May be wrong here but think this is only with Sky HD boxes.

Only on Sky+ HD boxes with the new EPG which is still being rolled out to some boxes. (Not Thomson ones).
