Looking for a bit of advice thought this was the best place to go. Myself and my partner are together one year, friends for years beforehand, bit of an age difference 15years. We have lived together for most of the year and every weekend his children who I adore, come to stay with us, problem is I want a baby in the future and he doesn't. My head is telling me to walk away but my heart tells me to stay I love him and our little family but this problem is tearing us apart, I don't know whether to stay and not have a baby or to walk and not find anyone I love as much as him. Any advice welcome please!

I don't think anyone can tell you what to do here OP, it's a decision you have to make. You have to sit your partner down and lay your cards on the table - if this is a deal breaker for either of you then you both need to know that. While it's not something that can be compromised on, one party can choose to go along with the other even tho it goes against their natural wishes...but be aware that can come with it's own issues and resentments.

If your partner is adamant he doesn't want any more children then you need to decide how important it is to you to have them - your fertility is finite and you need to decide and give yourself the opportunity to meet someone who shares your view of the future.

What I would say is there is absolutely no point in hoping he'll change his mind if he says he won't - if you continue with the relationship you need to do so on the understanding you are not going to be having a baby.

All the very best OP, it's a horrible situation to be in. :(
